Javon
Taylor, known on the streets as J, is the youngest of three boys. J
finds out through a letter about his father's dangerous lifestyle in
Baltimore. The letter describes his father's addictions to drugs and
alcohol, which ultimately lead him to go insane. J has always been good
at making friends, but, after moving around his whole life, he develops
a thuggish demeanor. He has vowed never to love or commit to anyone in
his life. Javon is good at sports, but he has to make the ultimate
choice between his hustler lifestyle or his one passion, football. It's
not easy to get past a life of sex, drugs, alcohol, gangs, violence,
murder, and even prison, but playing football will give Javon the
opportunity of a lifetime - earning a college education and playing the
sport on a professional level.
Getting Out The Game
