Junior may not be from The Baptiste Housing Projects, but
he has them on lock. Even though some people don't like the fact that
he is getting money on their stomping grounds, they decide that they
want a piece of the pie, and they want Junior out - dead or alive, it
doesn't matter to them. When an attempt is made on his life, Junior
decides to lay low for a minute until he can form a plan to get back at
the cats that tried to take him out. In the meantime, he hands over the
business to the one person he feels he can trust.
While Junior is lying low, though, his business takes off,
making him even more money than he made when he was out on the streets.
On top of that, his man is making some changes - even better ones than
Junior would have thought to make himself. As long as the money is
flowing, though, Junior is straight - but before he comes out of hiding
he needs to take care of the ones who tried to lay him out for good.
So, he decides to use the help of an old girlfriend to exact his
revenge...the only thing problem? She may be too close to the person he
is trying to kill...
This Game Has No Loyalty is an action-packed
novel with so many twists and turns, you’ll be asking yourself who
really is loyal after all, only to discover that the game really does
have no loyalty. If you are going to be in the game, the lesson to be
learned is: DON'T TRUST ANYONE…even the ones you think have your back,
just might be the enemy.
All in all, This Game Has No Loyalty is a
decent read. Although it has its twists and turns, it is too similar to
other novels of the same genre. Readers expecting something more,
something that makes it stand out among the rest, will be slightly
disappointed.
